AP School in Florida. Aviation Structural
50 vmf 115 from 1959-1961. Made Lance Corporal twice and Private
three times. Three days bread and water at Sugi, Japan. Had
a great tour in Corp and take pride in, "once a Marine,
always a Marine."
Millwright 91-65. Joined Navy as Sr September
of 1965. Made Mcpo Shipfitter and cwo hull technician.
Heart attack in 1980 led to retirement.
Tech ga for saiic until 1992.
Gardening and travel to present.
Local fra. Contact with retired Marines
so life remains good. Sure am proud of present Armed Forces,
especially those Jar Heads ain't they something!!!! Still,
I was a Marine once and young to paraphrase someone great.
